Playing The Old Course in St Andrews
Most guests want to play The Old Course but do not appreciate the difficulty in obtaining tee off times. The best way to to secure a golf tee time booking for The Old Course is to contact the St Andrews Links Trust direct. Contact Details For The Links Trust:

If there are no available tee-off times for the selected dates, half of the Old Course tee-off times are held for locals and visitors and can be obtained through the Old Course Ballot. Names are placed in a ballot before 12 noon and the draw is made by 4pm for the following day.
Strathtyrum guests can enter the ballot by providing a note of their Home Club and handicap when booking accommodation.
Please note that single players are not accepted in the ballot.
